The Emilia-Romagna Region has launched the seventh edition of the Responsible Innovators Award, aimed at highlighting best practices carried out by businesses, freelancers, social cooperatives, schools, universities, training institutions, and ITS foundations that have contributed to achieving the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The 2021 edition of the Award is particularly focused on showcasing the role of the production and training systems in achieving the strategic goals set out in the Pact for Work and Climate and in the 2030 Strategy of the Emilia-Romagna Region, summarized into four thematic areas:
- A Region of knowledge and learning
- A Region of ecological transition
- A Region of rights and responsibilities
- A Region of work, enterprises, and opportunities
This year once again, the Award integrates the “Gender Equality and Diversity Label”, as provided for in Article 30 of Regional Law No. 6/2014 (Framework Law on Equality and Against Gender Discrimination), through which the Regional Commission for Equality and Human Rights recognizes actions aimed at overcoming gender gaps.
