Communicating sustainability: how Anziani e Non Solo enhanced its capabilities thanks to the SKI.F.T. project

Anziani e Non Solo (ANS) is a social cooperative that has been active since 2004 in the field of social innovation, with a specific focus on designing and delivering interventions, products, and services in the area of social welfare.

As part of the SKI.F.T. project, ANS carried out a series of activities aimed at strengthening its internal communication skills and its capacity for social and environmental impact reporting. These activities were carried out with the support and expertise of the social cooperative La Lumaca.

Specifically, the following activities were implemented:

  • A needs analysis focused on organisational identity and image, along with training on effective communication tools, methodologies, and storytelling techniques;
  • Supervised project work on internal and external communication strategies, resulting in concrete work plans;
  • One-on-one consultancy sessions on impact assessment, including a review and enhancement of the cooperative’s social report.

This pathway, developed in collaboration with the selected service provider, enabled the cooperative to understand the strategic value of communication in environmental and social projects. It also helped ANS explore how to differentiate itself by effectively communicating its commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Furthermore, the project contributed to a critical analysis and revision of ANS’s current social report. A structured improvement plan was developed—starting with the collection of key data—to transform the report into a central tool for sustainable communication with stakeholders.

The project was funded by Legacoop Emilia-Romagna with a contribution of €6,700 and supported by Demetra Formazione.
