Legacoop Emilia-Romagna, together with Demetra Formazione, continues its commitment to the SKI.F.T. – Skills for Transition project.
The third transnational capacity-building seminar took place in Warsaw on 18 and 19 February, where project partners and representatives of beneficiary companies discussed Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, stakeholder analysis, and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) with industry experts.
FISE – the Polish Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives – partner in the SKI.F.T. project, hosted the training days, which included interactive workshops and networking opportunities. These provided an opportunity to explore tools and strategies to help social enterprises transition to sustainability.
In addition, it was possible to learn more about two social enterprises in Warsaw participating in the SKI.F.T. project, as:
- The Bochena Koncept cooperative, a new artisan bakery and café located in the city centre, focuses on craftsmanship and quality baking, choosing to support local producers and contribute to a low-impact economy.
- The Dobrze consumer cooperative, which has almost 600 members and collaborates with around 20 small local farms, demonstrating that direct cooperation between producers and consumers can guarantee quality food and a sustainable economic model.
Launched in October 2023 and co-funded by the European SMP-COSME-SEE programme, S.K.I.F.T. aims to support micro and small social economy enterprises in their transition to a greener economy.
This was made possible by an international partnership formed by social economy organisations and training institutions from Denmark, Poland and Italy, as: Kooperationen, FISE, REVES AISBL, CECOP, CSA COESI, Demetra Formazione and Legacoop Emilia-Romagna.
The coaching and specialised training programme on sustainability dedicated to micro and small enterprises in the social economy continues!
