Arbizzi Soc. Coop., a key player based in Reggio Emilia and a reference point in Northern Italy for industrial packaging solutions and machinery, has taken part in the European project SKI.F.T. – Skills for Transition.
Thanks to the funding received, the company embarked on a capacity-building program that involved both employees and management, through direct “on-the-job” support.
The initiative was developed through several operational steps, including:
- analysis of business processes related to sustainability;
- training sessions and workshops on ESG, stakeholder engagement, and corporate social responsibility (CSR);
- enhancement of best practices through targeted communication strategies;
- cost-benefit assessment of green-oriented investments.
The project led to several significant outcomes, such as:
- the development of a sustainability reporting project aligned with ESG standards;
- increased internal awareness of environmental and social issues;
- drafting of guidelines and informational materials to support stakeholder communication;
- the launch of new reflections and initiatives focused on sustainable packaging.
For Arbizzi, SKI.F.T. represented an opportunity to strengthen its cooperative identity in a responsible way, enhancing skills and tools essential for a sustainable and shared evolution of its business model.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Ambiente Lavoro Salute Srl, a company specialized in training and consultancy on sustainability and environmental strategy.
The project was funded by Legacoop Emilia-Romagna with a contribution of €6,700 and supported by Demetra Formazione.
